ABOUT
ABOUT
Milestone Artists was built on a simple belief: great writing doesn't find its audience by accident.
We work with a carefully chosen group of screenwriters — writers whose work has already earned recognition, and whose next step is getting it produced. Boutique by design, we offer the kind of sustained, strategic attention that larger firms can't.
We bring the business acumen. We bring the relationships. And we bring an unwavering commitment to the work — because we don't take on projects we don't believe in.
If the work is ready, we'll make sure the right people see it.

Matthew Tallacksen has been writing for the screen for over thirty years — not as a pursuit, but as a compulsion. Introduced to the film industry in the early 1990s, he sold his first screenplay before most writers finish their first draft. He never stopped writing after that. Thousands of pages later, he has a produced stage play, The Drummer Boy, and one screenplay that the industry keeps recognizing.
That screenplay is Elven.
A family fantasy set against the Scottish Highlands, Elven follows a mother and daughter whose unexpected inheritance pulls them into a centuries-old mystical conflict. The script has accumulated over 30 competition recognitions — including Best Fantasy Screenplay at Film Fest Fusion — with wins, finalist, and semifinalist placements across competitions including the Richmond International Film Festival, Orlando Film Festival, Palm Springs International Screenplay Awards, New York International Screenplay Awards, London Vision Film Festival, ScreenCraft, Stage 32, and many others.
Elven is currently represented by Milestone Artists and available for producer and director consideration.
